07-05-2021 Winston Wildlife Safari

Even though we have passed the entry to Wildlife Safari many times, Mo and I haven't visited the park in all the years we have been together. I think I saw it many years ago when I visited Melody in Medford some time in the 90's. We talked about going sometime and Mo said, why not tomorrow?! On our return home from Melody's via I-5, we took a little side trip to the well known venue. It was hot and no animals were allowed in cars on the wildlife drive, however they had nice shaded kennels for Mattie and we only had to buy a 5 dollar lock. The drive was a bit crowded, with gawking tourists paying no attention to the stated request that cars should stay to the right it they wanted to stop to view the animals. By the end we were feeling a bit impatient with many who had no clue how to share the road with others. Still we had fun and decided that if we go again it should be NOT on a holiday and NOT in the middle of the heat of a very hot day.
