Late May is the last of springtime temperatures, with June bringing triple digits. We had a scary moment with a pipe breaking under the corner of the pump house, but John managed to do the repair without a huge amount of money or trouble. Dodged a bullet. The flowers are fading on the rhododendrons and the columbine and shade garden are shining.
