2021 Fourth of July at Melody's in Brownsville

On Sunday morning, the 4th, Mo and Sue and Deborah drove north to Brownsville to spend the holiday with Melody and Robert. Matthew couldn't come at the last minute, but Melody's kids Axel and Xavier came with Axel's new person Pi. We had an amazing day with incredible food and lots of it. Enjoying Melody and Robert's home with air keeping us nice and cool in spite of the heat. The kids left around 7 to beat the scary night traffic and the 5 remaining adults walked down to Pioneer Park to enjoy a truly incredible show of fireworks. The next morning after a great night's sleep in the guest room on a new mattress pad and perfect sheets and pillows, we enjoyed breakfast and coffee and good conversation before departing for home.
