09-19-2021 Fallon to Baker

After boondocking at the Tribal texaco, we left Fallon in brilliantly clear skies by 9. Traveling Highway 50 through Nevada and met with Dan and Chere around noon in Eureka, where we had a picnic lunch. Continuing toward Baker we were terribly disappointed to see thick smoke blanketing half of Nevada and most of Southeastern Utah according to the smoke maps. We settled in to the Border Inn RV park and shared supper with Dan and Chere in their rig. It was smoky and windy and not conducive to outdoor dining.
