09-20-2021 Baker to Torrey

We woke to the wonderful surprise of brilliantly clear skies. Departing baker around 9 we traveled into Utah on Highway 50, continuing east toward Capitol Reef on Highway 24. Nice but chilly lunch stop at a rest area on Highway 24. We arrived at Thousand Lakes RV Park around 3 with plenty of time to set up in our lovely spots backed up to the view of the Mummy Cliffs before dinner. Dinner was shared green chile enchiladas that I made and froze for the trip. It was breezy and a bit chilly but incredibly clear with gorgeous blue skies and a full moon rising.
